Cosmo was found wandering alone. At first, we thought he was lost, but when we traced his owners, they said they had no intention of taking him back. We later learned that Cosmo had a history of biting, and we suspect he was abandoned because of this. Initially, he bit several caregivers at the shelter, but over the years, he has formed strong bonds with some experienced handlers and now gets regular walks. Cosmo is very sensitive to noise and is usually the first to bark when something spooks him—especially on rainy days. While he’s likely to live out his days at the shelter, we’re committed to giving him the best quality of life possible.
