Veterinary Behaviour Medicine

When behaviour meets medicine. Learn when medication may be needed, how it supports training, and what this means for rescue dogs.

❓ What you’ll Learn:

  • When medication may be considered as part of a behaviour support plan
  • How medication can work alongside training to support learning and welfare
  • What behavioural medication means for rescue dogs in a shelter context

🎤 Speaker:

A veterinarian since 2008, Dr Daphne Ang enjoys many aspects of veterinary science but is especially fascinated by how the human–animal bond shapes the way we care for animals. Her deep dive into veterinary behaviour medicine helped her rediscover a missing link in improving animal welfare and supporting families in better understanding their pets. Through her sharing, she hopes to inspire others to see the world through the eyes of their animals.
