Beef was rescued from a factory where he had been cared for by kind workers. When the factory had to relocate, the staff were unable to bring him along, and he was surrendered to the shelter for a new start. Understandably, Beef is cautious when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, his affectionate side shines through. He’s very food-motivated when relaxed, which has helped him begin trusting his handlers. While he isn’t walking on leash yet, we’re hopeful that with continued patience and positive experiences, he’ll soon be ready to explore the world outside the shelter.
