Bolly came in together with another dog, a friend of Binny’s, from Lim Chu Kang. Like many of the dogs from the area, his past is uncertain, but it’s clear that he has been through a lot. Before coming to us, Bolly was taken to the vet for a check-up. He was diagnosed with a chronic skin infection as well as a yeast infection, both of which must have been very uncomfortable for him. On top of that, Bolly also tested positive for heartworm, and he has since begun treatment. Right now, Bolly is still very shut down. Everything around him is new, and he seems unsure and overwhelmed. But we understand that healing takes time not just physically, but emotionally too. Our hope is that in the coming days, as he begins to feel better with treatment and care, Bolly will slowly start to open up. With patience, kindness, and a safe environment, we believe he will learn to trust again.
