Coby has been living at the shelter for several years and is a gentle, easy-going boy who takes life at his own relaxed pace. He was diagnosed with kidney issues some time ago and is currently on a prescription diet, which he’s been doing well on. He’ll need regular reviews every six months to ensure his condition remains stable.
Coby is low-energy and fairly independent, making him a fuss-free companion for most households. While he may not always seek out affection—especially from strangers—and might move away when approached for pats, he is very tolerant and calm, even during vet visits. With time, patience, and a gentle approach, Coby is sure to build a strong bond with his person.
He may be laid-back most of the time, but he definitely lights up when it’s time for walks! We believe Coby will thrive in a loving home that respects his space and allows him to open up at his own pace.
