Ella is a shy and sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe around people, especially after losing her mum some years ago at the shelter. She remains cautious, but we’re slowly building trust through gentle, positive interactions—helped along by her love for treats!
Ella is food-motivated, which has been a great way to connect with her and encourage her to come out of her shell. She does experience occasional skin issues and is currently undergoing treatment, and she also has a history of an autoimmune condition that caused joint swelling. Thankfully, she has recovered well from that.
She has yet to learn how to walk on leash, and will need a patient and understanding adopter who can guide her at her own pace. With time, consistency, and kindness, we believe Ella will continue to grow in confidence and learn to enjoy the companionship of a loving home.
