Kangaroo was rescued as a tiny puppy, just two months old. He was rehomed through another shelter, but not long after, he was returned because the adopter couldn’t manage him. At three years old, he was given another chance and adopted again by a different family. Sadly, a year later in 2023, he was abandoned once more. Kangaroo was eventually sighted at Lim Chu Kang by a kind regular feeder. Once again, he had become a stray, hiding deep inside the jungle. Despite everything he had been through, he would still come out whenever the feeders arrived, his tail wagging as he greeted the familiar faces who brought him food. But one day, Kangaroo didn’t come out. The feeders knew something wasn’t right. With their help, he was carefully trapped and brought to the vet. Their fears were confirmed. Kangaroo was sick. He is now under our care, receiving the treatment and attention he needs. Our hope is that with time, patience, and love, Kangaroo’s health will improve. And when he’s ready, we hope he will finally find the forever home he truly deserves a home where he will be safe, loved, and never abandoned again.
