Rooney was rescued from Lim Chu Kang, where many street dogs are wary of humans—but not him. From day one, Rooney showed his sweet nature, approaching feeders and even allowing them to carry him. He was friendly at the vet too, seeking affection from everyone.
Although he was adopted soon after, he was returned to us after displaying aggressive behavior toward visitors and even biting a family member. Back at the shelter, he has settled in and seems most anxious only on long walks and when exposed to unfamiliar noises.
We believe Rooney still deserves a chance—with experienced, cautious adopters who can read his body language and commit to helping him feel safe again.
