Yaki’s story begins at an abandoned fish farm, where he was left behind a few years ago. Life was quiet until recently, when the SLA began demolishing the site and closing off road access. With the area no longer safe, Yaki was thankfully rescued and brought to safety. Now settling into the shelter, Yaki is still a little reserved, but day by day, we’re seeing more of his gentle personality. He’s naturally curious and will cautiously approach to sniff, taking in the new world around him at his own pace. While he’s still learning to trust, there’s a quiet bravery in how he explores, and we’re confident he’ll continue to blossom with time, patience, and love.Yaki is on his way to a brighter future and we’re so excited to see him get there.
