A breakthrough in the upcoming shelter move!! While there are still many challenges ahead, this decision by MND has made our lives much easier. Thank you Ministry of National Development, and especially to Minister Desmond Lee, for your compassion towards Singapore’s homeless animals.

It is a breakthrough today!! – when it was revealed the Singapore government will build and manage facilities for animal welfare groups to operate shelters when the lease is up next year in 2017.
The announcement was made earlier by Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA), and this finally ends the two years of anticipating by all the shelters in Pasir Ris Farmway, who were afraid we had nowhere to go.
A big thank you to Minister Desmond Lee, Minister K Shanmugam Sc, and MP Louis Ng, for fighting hard for homeless animals in Singapore.
Challenges still lie ahead, but finally, the future does not look so bleak anymore!
