Many of our rescue dogs arrive fearful, skittish, or unsure of the world around them. Through this campaign, we provide essential training and rehabilitation to help them build confidence, learn to socialise, and become more adoptable. These efforts are especially important for Singapore Specials—crazily smart, deeply loyal dogs who often require specialised, long-term training and support to truly flourish. Without the right guidance, dogs with more complex needs are more likely to struggle post-adoption and, in some cases, be returned to the shelter—placing additional strain on SOSD’s already limited resources. Your donation goes beyond rescue alone; it directly supports the training, rehabilitation, and long-term care programmes that give these dogs the best possible chance of getting adopted, and staying in their forever homes.
