Bagel was rescued alongside another dog from a nursery after both were believed to have been hit by a vehicle, possibly a lorry, sometime in July. Poor Bagel suffered a fractured front leg and was seen struggling to walk, unable to bear any weight on his injured limb. Despite everything he’s been through, this handsome boy is slowly showing his gentle nature. He’s still a little nervous around new people, but beneath his cautious exterior is a sweet dog who just needs time, patience, and kindness. Bagel has now undergone surgery, and the road to recovery begins. With plenty of rest and proper care, we’re hopeful he’ll be back on his paws soon ready to enjoy walks, play, and, most importantly, find the loving forever home he deserves. We also hope that the person responsible for hitting Bagel and his companion will be identified, so that accountability can follow and no other animals have to suffer the same fate.
