Meet Bodhi! Bodhi was found along Serangoon River after his caring feeder noticed that his skin condition had worsened significantly and knew he needed urgent help. Despite his tough and rather fierce appearance, we soon discovered that Bodhi is actually a very shy and timid boy at heart. He was surprisingly easy to trap, which showed us just how gentle and vulnerable he truly is. After being brought to the vet, Bodhi was diagnosed with heartworm, tick fever, and ongoing skin issues. It’s clear he had been struggling on his own for quite some time. Now safe with us at the shelter, Bodhi is receiving the treatment and care he needs. He is still quite shut down and understandably cautious, but we are hopeful that with time, patience, and lots of love, he will slowly begin to trust and open up. Beneath that strong exterior is a sweet soul waiting to feel safe again.
