Nightshade is Moonbeam’s sibling ,rescued just a day after his brother was found. When he was finally brought in, he was extremely skittish and anxious, his tiny body covered in ticks. It’s hard to imagine how frightened he must have been, facing the world all alone. When Nightshade first arrived at the shelter, he was overwhelmed and unsure. Everything around him must have felt scary and unfamiliar. But the moment he was reunited with his brother, something changed. Slowly, he began to eat. Slowly, he is learning to settle. Having his brother by his side made him feel safe again. He’s still a little timid, still learning that he’s no longer in danger but day by day, he’s showing small signs of trust. With patience, love, and a gentle home, we believe Nightshade will continue to blossom into the sweet soul we know he is.
