Tiny in size, big in heart. Thumbelina has a mild neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia, which gives her a quirky gait and occasional leg twitches, but it doesn’t stop her from living a full and happy life.
She was adopted at a year old but returned when her previous family had a baby and a helper. The sudden changes stressed her out, and she nipped the toddler and helpter. Back in the shelter, she’s sweet, affectionate, and shows her handlers just how much love she has to give.
She prefers to eat in peace and is most comfortable on short familiar walking routes. Thumbelina will do best in a single dog household, and a calm, stable home that gives her space when she needs it, and love when she’s ready.
