Do you like playing football?
If the answer is “YES” and you would like to help raise funds for SOSD, then sign-up for this unique football competition organised by students from Republic Polytechnic.
This version of the world’s favourite game is called “Walking Football” and as it name implies, players can only walk. Also, no tackling is allowed. Hence, it is perfect for males and females of all ages.
Walking Football is also easy on the knees and legs, and you don’t need to be very fit to play it. Yet, it is exciting and mentally stimulating as teamwork and strategy is extremely important.
A total of 16 teams (of five players each) are needed and the entry fee per team is $500. You can choose to form a team comprising all guys or gals only, or you can mix-and-match and have a co-ed team!
