Winona was rescued a little later together with two of her siblings and her mum from Sembawang Shipyard. We suspected that some of the dogs there were still breeding, and with concerns that the shipyard may close down in the next 2 years, we knew we had to bring them somewhere safe. After the rescue, Winona and her siblings were reunited with the other two pups we had taken in earlier and it was such a heartwarming moment seeing them so happy together! Winona is a shy little girl who often prefers to stay quietly in a corner when she feels unsure. But once she’s out along the corridor, you get to see a completely different side of her! She enjoys playing with toys and having fun with her siblings, showing off her sweet and playful personality. She’ll also happily accept treats when you gently toss them to her — a small but precious sign that she’s slowly learning to trust. We’re hopeful that with more time, patience, and love, Winona will continue to open up and blossom into a confident little girl. More than anything, we hope she finds a forever home filled with warmth, safety, and lots of love.
